This was a quick getaway with my 84 year old mom. When we arrived, we were met at the front desk by Dharini, who was warm, friendly, and helpful. But the BIG thing was this morning when my mom had a medical emergency. I called the desk to please call rescue (they know the address; I would have wasted time looking it up). We got rescue, but first we also got Tommy from housekeeping who has nursing experience and came right away to help. She calmed and cared for my mother and made her feel safe in a terrifying time. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast is very limited and in a small space, but Dunkin, McDonald's and Waffle House are very close. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet for an exterior room. Our King bed was comfortable, shower had plenty of hot water, the fridge and microwave were useful for our 3 day stay. Surrounding town was adorable. Great stay. Easy access to the town of Blue Ridge,we recommend visiting.
We arrived and the sheets of the bed were wet under one pillow. We had to strip the bed and ask for new linens. The manager didn’t offer to help. Next our room was next to the stairs and people sound like they stomp up and down them. Lastly breakfast was the poorest continental possible. I had to argue again with the manager that the bread was empty! It sounds strange because it was! He wouldn’t believe me there was no cheap bread to toast!!! Ridiculous!
