Room very musty smelling Possible carpet was still wet from being shampooed. 🤷🏻♀️ Staff was short (snippy) in communicating. Wasn’t very acknowledged with surroundings. Also made it very clear check out had to be 11am. (Snippy) Stayed in room 117. The door did not latch correctly to lock from outside. Like went outside to check vehicle, thought door was closed nope. Came back and didn’t even use key to get in pushed it right open… I could get door latch closed In the room w/ dead bolt lock..

Great staff very friendly manger lady was awesome helpful and very friendly highly recommend
From allowing us to check in early, to helping us change rooms when the air conditioner was not working properly, to assisting me with printing out a document, to responding to a request to change the coffee when it was out, the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. I appreciated the note under the door each morning asking if our room needed any clean towels or attention. Additionally, the hotel was updated and clean. On our next visit to Carroll, Iowa, we will plan to stay again at the Days Inn.
