I’m very disappointed with my recent stay. Once I booked, I sent multiple messages to the front desk and even called ahead specifically requesting a room away from the main road because I’m very sensitive to noise. Despite all those communications, we were given a room facing the road. The traffic noise made it extremely difficult to sleep. I reported the issue during my stay and was told that a manager would address it, but no one ever followed up or contacted me. The hotel has so much potential. It’s too bad that it’s been so run down and it doesn’t seem that the owners are putting forth effort. The room was spacious which was great, the bathroom is so tiny and outdated, dirty, moldy etc. it’s definitely not worth the money we paid. There are some clean, newer hotels in Calgary for cheaper. The pool area was strange, hard to access and you had to walk across the lobby and down stairs in your bathing suit to access. Which is awkward when you’re soaking wet. Hot tub was not hot.
