We show up for a work trip and are asked for a credit card and id— as we got a pre authorization since work was paying for it and asked if just the damage deposit was going on the card since the payment should be on the other card. The front desk laughed at us repeatedly and said they both go on the same physical card— clearly not knowing what a pre-auth is. Oh well, easy enough for work to reimburse us. Building is heavily dated. Lacking in updated features. For 110 a night it’s tolerable.

Originally booked a room for two nights as we were driving in from out of province for an event. Upon arrival, the hotel stunk of weed in the lobby area. We checked in and were told our room was in a corner wing of the hotel. The elevator up to that floor was seemingly under construction, was jerky, and did not work properly.
