Where do I begin? An unfortunate circumstance saw our family having to rush to foothills hospital to be at the bed side of my father in law as he passed unexpectedly. My wife and her brother and mother needed a “home base” and the hospital suggested Days Inn as the offer compassion rates and treatment. The call was made and the room was booked. I cant give a good review due to a billing error and some hospitality issues. We used our points for a free stay and were charged regardless for the room. My advice is check your bill with this place and your credit card statements as due diligence is clearly lacking at this establishment. Simple mistakes are not ok and staff need to be trained further when checking guests out so mistakes don't happen. Stayed one night with my family. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, things went downhill once it was time to sleep. We set the thermostat to 19°C, but the room got uncomfortably hot during the night. My kid woke up sweaty and uncomfortable, and so did we. We only used the flat sheet as our blanket. Not sure what was going on with the temperature control, but it made for a rough night’s sleep.

I had a reservation through Expedia. Showed up at the hotel and was told I would be charged $50 for an early check in of 30 minutes. The location is right on 16th Avenue with lots of traffic so noise within the units will most likely be loud. The building looks like an old converted motel to a Wyndham. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I ended up canceling the reservation without refund and decided to stay at a better hotel. Wyndham is usually good, but this location is subpar.
