Overall I prefer Days inn over any of the motels in Bastrop however it did disturb me when we scheduled for an additional night to stay and there was no issue or problem at the beginning however when we went to pay we were told that they would have to move us to a smoking only room because we were smoking in our no smoking room, this is not the case! My husband went to Bastrop for work for 1 night. He held the room with our credit card, and pd cash when he got there. $71 was held pending out of the account for 3 days. The money was released, but 3 days later, aother amount $67 was charged. I called the man, and he sd my husband did not pay cash. We had the receipt!! Further the $67, was not even the price! I and my husband talked to him, & he would not refund the money!! We finally had to call the police. I believe this man fraudulantly used MY MONEY!!
