The location is is right across the street from the ferry to go to Nova Scotia so you get a beautiful view of the water. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s close to the Bar Harbor shopping district and also to Acadia National Park. Plus they let you print your parking passes for free. The breakfast is nice and Dog friendly too . I visited during September and in the morning & nights it would be a bit chilly outside, but my room always felt very comfortable temperature wise. Staff was nice and helpful... poor lighting outside. Inadequate parking! Had to park at a affiliated hotel. As for the room it was clean though I have paid less for better.

Every aspect of this motel needs improvement. The staff was inattentive and seemed uninterested in working. As soon as we checked in, we discovered the safe was not working. They clean the rooms only every other day, and even then, the bed sheets were never changed. The milk served was expired by four days. AIR CONDITIONS WERE NOT WORKING AT ALL The bathroom tubs were clogged. They fixed it once, but the issue returned every time we took a bath, so eventually, we stopped calling. One of the nicest and coziest places I have stayed in that is also relatively affordable!!
