As far as a low end hotel goes, this one is surprisingly amazing. It used to be a motor in, so don't be surprised if you don't see a huge Days Inn sign. The service is okay, but it has a great restaurant attached. I stayed twice, when I only meant to stay once.

Well our first night was uneventful. We woke up the next day and my 5 year old was messing around as they do and had moved the mattress. No big deal, until I stood up to fix it and found this under the bed. Yes a simple google image search confirms it was not a Kong dog toy like we so much hoped… and what did they do to make up? We chose this hotel because it was within a half hour of everywhere we wanted to visit in the thumb. The room was very clean. The staff went above and beyond when my daughter left the car door open and our battery died. They jumped our car for us. The diner was clean, service was great, and the food was delicious.
