I’ve lived at The Daymark Uptown Apartments for almost 4 years, and while there have been some positives, there are also a number of ongoing frustrations that potential renters should be aware of. The actual unit I live in has been great overall. My studio is clean and well laid out, and I appreciate that all utilities (except internet) are included. I love living at the Daymark. My apartment is beautiful, the common areas are pristine and inviting, and the gym is clean and fantastic to have in winter. The people who work here make life even better (special shout out to Taryn, Merrill, and Sharon). The monthly social activities are a great way to meet neighbors and connect. We have a pet sitting list, so finding help to watch your animals while you're away is easy. I have had an absolutely awful experience living here. I was SO excited to live at the Daymark. I’ve lived here for two years now and I’m finally about to move out.. counting down the days. They have not replied to a single request I’ve had in the past year. I’ve been nothing but kind and I’m not the type to nag- however, there has been MULTIPLE safety concerns, the washers and dryers on my floor haven’t worked properly in a year, and the overnight worker at the front desk sleeps all night long. I have recently downsized from a house back to the Uptown I love. The staff, especially Taryn, are exceptional. Do yourself a favor and at least go tour! Daymark is the best kept secret! (The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars, is my ridiculously high expectations-I’m working on that : )
I chose to live at Daymark because of its beautiful apartments and appealing amenities, which truly feel premium. However, despite the presence of security and a kind, attentive staff, there have been multiple instances that have made me feel unsafe—particularly related to theft and security concerns that I’ve had to escalate myself, including calling the police when staff did not intervene.
