I’m not sure who was responsible for this mess, but I was not given complete instructions about pre-op information for a scheduled biopsy that I showed up for and it was cancelled. I believe some of that is my ENT’s office fault, but the nurse at Day Surgery Center told me that, BY LAW, I had to have someone accompany me on the ride home with ride source and someone would have to be with me for 24 hours post procedure. Absolutely amazing experience!!!! The front desk staff all the way to nurses and back office staff were very good to me. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of. I had certain requests and to see the communication between the whole team to make sure everyone was on the same page was very helpful. Great team! I was definitely impressed. I highly recommend this place if you are deciding on a surgery center. You will not be disappointed in your choice.
Everyone at RB DAY SURGERY were terrific! Starting with Janet at the front desk, Mark our nurse, the anesthesiologist, Dr Henderson and everyone in between. They made it a pleasant experience. We(my daughter and I) thank you.
My nurse Matthew was great. He was constantly joking and made me feel comfortable. He was also very professional, good at distraction, and I didn’t feel the IV needle when he inserted it (one of my biggest phobias!). Dr. Yang was great with providing the information that I asked for and surgery was smooth. Cameron was awesome once I was out, the anesthesiologist and his medical student were also cool (sorry guys I was too drugged up to remember your names).
