The check-in process was smooth, and my pre-op nurse was excellent. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and overall case coordination was very disappointing. The surgeon had never met me before surgery day because my consultation was handled by a PA. When she came to my bedside, she did not introduce herself, and I only realized she was the surgeon when she asked me to show her the area she planned to remove. Wonderful experience in surgery yesterday! They were able to schedule my surgery earlier than expected, gave clear pre and post op directions and every staff member was kind, gracious and so caring to ensure my comfort and recovery. Thank you so much!
I wanted to post this for anyone who, like me, gets anxious about any medical procedures and is scrolling the Google reviews for something to calm their nerves. My A.M nurses where the best the O.R team was amazing,when I came out of surgery to the recovery room the P.M nurses had terrible bed side mannor, the CNA rolled her eyes at my mother, super disrespectful,I will be reporting them in the morning, 5 stars to the A.M team 5 starts to the O.R team , 1 star for the P.M nurses I had.
