The worst place that exists
Crazy work to get sent to the emergency department by your PCP’s office for risk of blood clotting to have the ER staff completely dismiss that information give me an xray, diagnose me with what I could’ve diagnosed myself with, despite ignoring it hasn’t gotten better in 3 weeks, just to get me out of the ED and not even refer me to a specialist but just gave me contact info. Would never choose to come to this seemingly “indifferent to who’s in front of them” medical facility.
This Hospital should be shut down. My mother almost died under their care and was awoken after 24 hours at Hartford. A hospital that could not believe the conditions Day Kimball runs under. Nothing has changed in years. I was misdiagnosed causing end-stage renal failure my grandmother misdiagnosed for breast cancer that turned out to be terminal. it is time for a new hospital to take over within Connecticut!!! If you are going to care for people do better DKH. You are now known as Day Kil* Em. Think about that.
Shout out to the woman at the desk in the ER who was angry that I had the audacity to use the Nurse button because I had to pee after being there for 5 hours and having an entire bag of IV fluids. I was hooked up, so I needed a nurse to disconnect me. After I called the 1st time, I waited 15 to 20 mins and was close to tears. I called a 2nd time and wow was this woman nasty to me.
