Forcibly holding down a child to administer eye drops was awful. How about introducing yourself and explaining to the child what is going on. They are people too. Also, seriously stating to wrap painters tape around my child's head and eye as an eye patch is ridiculous. Even worse is when you stated that if they take that off, just use duct tape. Around their head with hair and eye. I understand being busy but inhumane is not acceptable. I have already alerted my regular doctors to no longer refer Dr. Day and am looking into... read more
DO NOT TAKE YOU CHILDREN TO DR. DAY!!!! We took our 4 year old son to Dr. Day in February of 2109. As soon as we entered the exam room Dr. Day was rude and rushed his exam of our son’s eyes. Dr. Day never explained any of the tests he was doing to our son or us even when he dilated our son’s eyes there was no waring or explanation, he just told my son to lay back and he squirted his eyes. He was so mean to my son that he made him cry and that’s when Dr. Day really started to rush the exam.
Dr Day is fantastic! I do not want to see a doctor that wants to be friends with my child. I want a doctor that has my child sight as the number one priority! He is smart, fast, confident and his dry sense of humor is great. He performed surgery on my daughter at the age of 5. He was so great in ensuring we were educated and confident in the procedure.
DON'T SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! Rude, surly, doesn't communicate & gets aggravated if you ask questions. Never told us to come back before my dd's script was done. When we came to renew he berated us and said her vision was likely permanently damaged. Had to look at her notes to even get a diagnosis (lazy eye), which he'd never mentioned and we needed to patch. We went to Dr. Sato--he told us she didn't have a lazy eye and in fact, the script was wrong--leaving her with her with bad headaches. Quack.
