If you’ve noticed the gradual decline in service standards across hospitality, this motel is unfortunately a clear example. I would recommend looking elsewhere. On arrival, several basic issues were immediately apparent. The pool was unusable due to heavy algae, reportedly because the filtration system was not being run to save electricity. Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte dort. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber und schön. Allerdings schauten wir durchs Fenster auf der Rückseite des Hauses direkt auf einen Müllabladeplatz des Hauses. Das passte so nicht zu den Fotos, die eher suggerieren, dass es einen Garten dort gibt. Der Essbereich vor dem Raum war sehr gemütlich. Dort haben wir abends und morgens gegessen. We booked the Dawson Motel because it advertised a pool and Wi-Fi. At no point before arrival were we told the pool was unavailable or that there was issues with the wifi. On arrival, it became obvious why. The pool was unusable and covered in thick green algae. We were then told the owner does not like running the pool because it costs too much power.
