Many of us show the upmost kindness and compassion to others after they've experienced a loss. We are extra gentle with our friends and family members when they grieve. It's important to be extra kind to yourself during your grieving period. Start by using the BREATHE method: B – Be kind to yourself. R – Respect your body by not overindulging alcohol, drugs, and bad food; by getting enough sleep, and by moving around at least a little every day. E – Engage with others in big and/or small ways.
