Dawn has absolutely changed my life for the better. If you are looking for someone to deal with anxiety or depression and are really committed to doing the work to address it, she'll get in the trenches with you and get it done. Buckle up though, because good therapy always makes you feel worse before it makes you get better. That's the reality when you are honestly and thoroughly uncovering and confronting your issues.

I saw a client of Dawn's for about 1.5 years to help with my severe depression. I did not find her very helpful during this time but figured it was better than nothing, which I was wrong about. In the end, I am worse off for having used her as my therapist. I regret hiring her and am in a worse position than I was when I began therapy. The experience was so bad, in fact, that I don't believe I will ever give therapy another try again. For what is worth, I highly recommend giving anyone else a try before you give Dawn one. Dawn's insightful, conversational method helps me discover important truths about myself. She has helped me work through some particularly limiting past events by providing new ways of viewing them. But her focus on mindfulness helps me build strength to cope with today, rather than seeking blame from my past. I've learned more about myself with Dawn's guidance than I ever thought possible.
