Outdated apartment complex with bug issues, warped floors, constantly clogger drains, cob job plaster wall repairs from patches, and the cheapest rugs I have ever seen. Maintenance ignores all repair requests and Loudon Arms has been cited numerus times for code violations and currently has a lawsuit against them for discriminatory housing practices. This is a great choice if you need a place to live and quality is not a factor.
As my lease renewal is coming due, they just raised my rent by 165 dollars!!! A tiny 360 sq foot apartment? This isn't the Ritz. This is a place where the police are always being called. A woman next store was beaten and stabbed to death here by a fellow tenant last year. I've only made min wage since moving here. People barely scratching by can't afford these kinds of price hikes. Kind of upset that they raise the rent during the pandemic. They raised it last year when the pandemic started and they raised it again this year no heart.
I’ve resided @Grant Village for 31 years! The 520 apartment complex is located in a great neighborhood! The wonderful ladies in the office/maintenance men are non-judgmental, fair, caring, professional, ethical, HUMANE, an absolute pleasure to dialogue with 100% of the time! They’re doing everything in their power to effectively upgrade living conditions for their tenants! They are a delight to interact with! Do NOT rent at this complex. I have been here for 6 years and it has continued to decline every year. Let us count the ways Elmwood Court is not recommend. 1) Rent will be raised every year, regardless. Expect to pay $40-60 more a month at renewal time. When you ask why the answer is some vague version of “going rates are higher”. Yet, when compared the more expensive properties offer swimming pools, updated kitchens, fitness centers and more square footage. 2) Management continuously fails to address tenant concerns. ... read more
