If you are seeking an intelligent, experienced, and compassionate therapist, one who takes your spirit into account in the work you do together, Dawn Dickson is the one. When my clients need psychotherapy, which goes beyond my scope of practice, I always send them to Dawn. She has the great capacity to hold, support and guide them through to health and healing. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Dawn is a highly gifted, skilled and compassionate healer.
Two things that are terribad: Dawn diagnoses EVERY ONE of her clients with a disorder. To her, there are no normal people or normal problems. You have a disorder. Over the phone, she couldn't tell me what she would diagnose me with, but she was certain could find a disorder in me (as a stranger) for the insurance companies. I don't like that, so I chose to pay cash to avoid an arbitrary diagnosis.
