Dawn was extremely helpful and empathetic towards some challenges I was facing. I will never forget the love and care she provided.
As a new mom, pregnant for the first time, I have concerns about breastfeeding. I attended the Beginning Breastfeeding class: what to expect. Dawn is extremely personable and knowledgeable. I will be keeping her in my repertoire of resources especially once my baby arrives!
My only regret is that I did not go see Dawn sooner. My first visit with Dawn was when my son was about 5 weeks old. My milk supply was very low and I wanted to see if I could correct anything I was already doing to help increase my supply. Dawn is amazing to work with. She made me feel very comfortable right away. Dawn was such a great help to me. Very encouraging! I would recommend her to all of my friends if they run into any issues with breast feeding. I felt like I wasn't making enough but she reassured me I was and also gave me some helpful tips. She still makes herself available for any questions I have. She is very friendly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. Thank you again Dawn for your help!!
Dawn is wonderful! Very encouraging to a new mom and offers lots of helpful suggestions. Nursing my little one has become much more comfortable after our visit with Dawn and I feel more confident. As part of the Affordable Care Act, my insurance company reimburses 100% of the cost to see a lactation consultant, so that makes things even better!
Dawn is amazing! She made time for me and came to see me at the hospital. She was so re-assuring and gave me the confidence I need to continue breastfeeding just when I was going to give up.
I was devastated cause I thought I wasn't going to be able to continue breastfeeding my one month old son, I needed an expert in lactation so I called Kaiser but their experts weren't going to be available until after the holiday weekend so I started the exhaustive search through the web cause I needed help today and thank God I came across Dawn from "Dawn of Life" and she was able to patiently guide me with her knowledge and expertise through my dilemma and provide me with links that were so helpful and see me in her office... read more
