Gorgeous place! Couldn't have asked for a better backdrop for our family pictures!
1800 acres, and the tour of the old farm house is very interesting.
I just attended a mushroom identification workshop. The person was going to present became I'll and couldn't do it, so Sigrid filled in. I loved out! The staff was so knowledgeable and my granddaughter who hadn't wanted to come ended up loving it too. Its important to teach the kids about the beauty of the natural world and I was so glad to share this experience with her. Please have more mushroom sessions.
We've spent many hours walking the grounds and studying the trees. Now we take our small grandkids there and they've grown to love it too. It's beautiful, educational, relaxing and a great place to walk and explore the trails. Thank you Dawes. We love you and will be back soon!
Love going out to just walk around. The kids love that they get to climb the tower .nice way to get their summer energy out.
please open the rest of the driving tour I think it's been long enough
It's free and repaving roads so that's a plus. No trash cans, even by picnic tables.
Great place for everyone! I had kiddos ranging from 3 to 11 and they all loved Dawes!
What a beautiful, peaceful place. Thanks for a lovely time I had when visiting. I know I'll be back because one afternoon just wasn't enough to see everything I wanted. (Tree Addict's Paradise!)
