We are learning to do At Home Peritoneal Dialysis, our educator is amazing and very thorough and friendly . Being sterile/clean while doing at home is so important and she is with us in every step, helping us understand the process, how and when to order supplies.
Some of the staff here are very rude and unprofessional. They seem more concerned with getting patients on and off the machines as quickly as possible than with making sure the patients are in good health. Several times my loved one has been hospitalized after the nurses on staff minimized their symptoms. I recommend receiving dialysis treatment elsewhere if you can.
