I had a ton of odd stuff that I needed to recycle after cleaning out my mom's house and garage and found Davis Recycling in the yellow pages. I had no idea what to expect as this was a first for me. They unloaded my stuff quickly and evaluated everything so that I got the best price for all the different stuff I had. Under-classification. Beginner sellers beware. Went in to drop off a carload of metal. I'm a novice and this was my first time visiting the location. Had a combination of steel, aluminum and a little copper. Couldn't initially read the messy receipt writing from the guy weighing and classifying the metal. Had over 150 pounds of metal. He classified it all as steel and I got .10 per pound. When I questioned the tare weight of the cart, his attitude changed to short, impatient.
