My daughter and I have been taking out pets to Davis Lake for several years. I find the doctor and his staff very caring and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I had to take my dog into an emergency clinic because it was weekend, and they charged me an outrageous amount and my dog did not get better. She only got better under the care of Dr. Haynes. Thanks for all you guys do to make out pets feel better. I HIGHLY and SINCERELY RECOMMEND :) Leah
Good vet, and a Good man – I have been going to Dr. Haynes for more then quite a few years now. I will say he is often a man of few words, but when he does talk its important. He's helped me out of several pinches and has been great with my dog, who isn't exactly a great patient. I drive from Mount Holly now just to keep going there.

Abbey needed oxygen to stabilize her because she was suffering and couldn't breathe. Again, to defend himself, Dr. Haynes insiste... read more
Most non-compassionate place I have ever seen! – I wish "no stars" was an option! Our 14-yr old poodle was a patient of Dr. Sam Haynes. This Saturday she had a severe attack with her Congestive Heart Failure. We rushed her to the vet (having called the night before, as she was not doing real well, to find they were open from 8-12 on that Saturday). Her breathing was suddenly irregular, her chest had audible crackles from across the room (her lungs had filled with fluid from a poorly pumping heart... I am an RN). Her mouth wa... read more
