Ruben is great. Always answers the phone, shoots straight and charges very fair price. Unfortunately I can not "highly recommend" his services as I might create a longer wait time for me to get my work completed :-))

I highly recommend Mr. Davis's garage to everyone. He's serviced my cars over the past few years (from Subarus to Mercedes), and has always done a great job at a very reasonable price. He's even left home after the garage was closed and opened up for me when I had an emergency.

This is is response to the complaint below. I don't know or work for Rubin's Garage. But do you have any idea what it takes to patch a tire? You're upset about $25! Seriously? The tire must come off the vehicle, rim removed, cleaned on the inside, patch glued in on the inside, rim resealed, tire reinflated, and tire reinstalled. If you're complaining that $25 is too expensive you're crazy. What would you charge? My guess, since you obviously know nothing about it - $100. And that's after you gave up. While visiting Kiawah Island during the PGA we damaged the front end of our Volvo wagon which resulted in radiator leaks and loss of our fluid. We called Rubin Davis the owner of this auto repair company and he was very understanding of our situation and that we were stranded out of town visitors. He evaluated the damage and ordered the new radiator which was delivered that day and our vehicle was repaired and returned to us the end of the next business day. THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. THEY CHARGED 25 DOLLARS TO PATCH A TIRE THEY MADE 2 MISTAKES TRYING TO PLUG IT THEN THEY HAD TO PATCH IT. I GUESS WE PAID BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO TAKE A SHORT CUT. THEY SHOULD HAVE PATCHED IT FIRST BECAUSE IT WAS A HEAVY DUTY TIRE

The first time we used this garage we needed to get my daughter's oil changed quickly since she was in the process of moving. They were not only quick but they were friendly, efficient, and inexpensive. Since that time we have had them work on the brakes for two of our vehicles and the oil changed in 3 vehicles in addition to my daughters car. I highly recommend them for routine maintenance and they are very convenient to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.
