RecommendedI had a positive experience at Davis. This is unfortunately our 2nd time using the services at Davis, but they have been very kind. This process is hard, and although there were challenges, my husband was treated with respect and I felt that the prices were reasonable. The chapel is beautiful and the services were nice. I am grateful for Stacy, Sasha, Elizabeth and the kind lady at reception.
My wife’s grandmother purchased three plots from Davis 10 years ago paid in full. Now my mother-in-law has passed and we were quoted a price for internment but the next day were informed that Price was not correct and were told we would have to pay an additional $3000. They do not honor quotes given by their representatives. This amounts to heavy handed extortion. Don’t do business here.
They are charging Mother's to ID their children. This is not what funeral homes do. These people want $400 to ID my loved one and everyday that he's there (if it's him) the price increases. These people are a disgrace and does not respect the family or the deceased. We did not request for them to pick up and transport are loved one to their facility and now they are holding him hostage. Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas.....the absolute worst! Beware of BS Yelp reviews which have been fixed. Davis tried to inflate cremation costs about three times what we eventually paid elsewhere. Wanted thousands of dollars to cremate my father's remains, hundreds of dollars more to dress him, and hundreds of dollars more for his wife to quickly view the remains. My aunt passed away in New York and her remain were sent to Davis. I called and spoke to Kristin to get the information regarding the bill as my cousins were not prepared to pay for the service. I asked Kristin if it would be possible for her to send us some prayer cards so that we could send thank you cards to our relatives who had sent cards to my mother. Absolutely the worst. Giving the run around for 6 months! Makes you wonder if they truly have my Uncles ashes! Someone needs to investigate them.

The way this business operates is unacceptable. They overcharged for everything, which in itself is wrong to take advantage of people dealing with the death of a loved one. Apparently, customer service and "coordinating with the family" listed in the contract means not contacting the family if there is any sort of delay.
