The nursing staff and techs have been wonderful. Everyone in surgery was so kind and willing to explain EVERYTHING to me. Complete lack of customer interaction via email and Twitter DMs. This is 2021, time to utilize your socials better and be more attentive to customers. Your billing department caused hoops to be jumped through and Karen was pretty rude when trying to get answer. Simply put, she was a real life "Karen". Thanks for your overpriced allergy tests - I'll be sure to stay away from SSM going forward.
Set up a payment plan on 1/12/21. Got a letter from a collections agency today. Called SSM billing to inquire as to why I was sent to collections. They stated the $100 I paid to be set up on the payment plan was sitting in an erroneous account for Physicians Billing. No one can explain how/why this happened. Now no one seems to be able to assist me. This is absolutely ridiculous! This is the billing department’s fault and now my credit has to take a hit because of it! Having a terrible experience dealing with customer service after getting a covid test. The people at the clinic in MT Vernon, IL never took my insurance information and they later just sent me a bill. I've called 4 times and even after talking to the manager in customer service I never got a follow up with them like they said they would. Worst healthcare exerience of my life. DO NOT GO TO SSM
RecommendedI was at Saint Joseph health center In January for six days and had the most amazing care, compassionate nurses and physicians who treated me on the 4th floor It was the best experience in a hospital I have ever received. I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough good things 🤗
