I hired Davis drywall to build a large party deck over my back patio. I purchased all high end materials like Trex. I was quoted one price and when they were done, they increased the amount by a couple thousand. They did the drywall in my shop and they did ok (definitely not perfect but good enough) so I hired them to build the deck. Mind you this is a party deck so it is 8’ tall and railing around so people can get on top. It lasted all of a year. It collapsed and thank God no one was on it at the time.
