Worst of the worst. Left there three times because they literally make you suffer in a damn recliner chair while you’re withdrawing and suicidal and next to about 10 other people. This recent time I just got out of the hospital for suicide attempt and alcohol and the intake man told me to go hang outside in 90 degree weather because they were busy. Wouldn’t wish this place on my own damn enemy. Please do not send ANYONE you love here.
The R.C. is an excellent resource for addicts to seek out help. But for people in a mental health crisis it lacks a lot. I do not understand why they would send someone in a mental health crisis there. I've been told so many times I can go there for a mental health crisis but I will never go again for that. And it's just taking up a bed that someone who is seeking help for their addiction needs. What they need to do is make a larger C.R.U.
I loved my psychiatrist who is now retiring. She's the best one ever. Julie Krause. Very supportive of my needs and excellent discussions of my troubles..
