I have lived in the area 3 months and have already been to Davis BBQ 6 times... And they are only open Fri,Sat& Sun! The Best of all your BBQ favorites, and the Fried Cornbread is an extra special treat! I was not a brisket fan, but theirs has made me a convert.
Watered down BBQ plate!! Sour taste too! I may go back one more time just to see if it was a bad day there in the kitchen.
Best pinto beans, fried cornbread, cole slaw and turnip greens EVER! Great service too.
Apparently, I ordered the wrong bbq from the menu. It was very bland and no smokiness to it. It must have been baked in an oven and should not be called barbecue. Spend the extra couple bucks and order the smoked bbq. It's probably miles better than the cheaper version. Why even offer two versions on the menu???
The most awesome place EVER! Food is outstanding and the hospitality and service is even above that! Bless this sweet family for sharing their time and talents in this business. Been going here for years....wouldn't have BBQ anywhere else. ....we drive all the from NC to eat here.
