I’m Very unhappy with the treatment plan and care I received. They have shortened my life! I came to see Dr Puneet Bhalla, Oncologis, and was referred to Davis Romney, Radiologist, for 10 treatment for lung cancer Stage 1B. They said I only needed 10 radiation treatments to kill the cancer. Follow up 3 months later with CT Scan and Pet Scan showed something growing but Dr Romney said it was scar tissue. My first interaction with Ironwood Cancer was with Dr Bhalla in 2010 and he treated me for a severe DVT in my left leg. He came highly recommended, and I had the best experience for the year that I was there. Speed up to 2019…I was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer right before the pandemic started. After a complete Thyroidectomy , they found I had cancer present in 2 of the surrounding lymph nodes. I recently completed radiation treatments for skin cancer on my leg. Dr. Romney was excellent! He answered every question that I had and was so kind and thoughtful. Ironically my dad had Dr. Romney several years ago and was impressed with him also.
