I’ve had better crab cakes for far less. Crab cake entree with no sides at $58 is crazy, fine dining or not. Especially since they’re so small and only DECENT in flavor. Philly cheesesteak rolls were good tho. Our waiter seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else tho. We also received bread that was undercooked. Also, wanted valet parking because we were all in heels, but they didn’t have anyone available even tho it was offered online and there were signs for it everywhere, but oh well. Essence was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. We will come back just for her.
More people need to be like Mike. He kept me smiling and suggested great menu choices. I had the lamb chops, with potatoes and broccoli and for dessert was the butter cake. All was great choices the butter cake melts in your mouth. I will be back.
Business lunch was enjoyed by all. The fish entrée was wll received by two in our party saying it was light but flavorful. Three of us got salads, two had chicken added which one said made a terrific Ceasar. The roasted beet salad has plump beets, fresh arugula, crumbled goat cheese but for me unfortunately had bacon on top which I must have missed in the menu.
