They were just great in 2016--in and out, very quick, trimmed, and blew up the cuttings. This year (2017) the boss gave me grief in a couple of phone calls, and then declined to mow for me any more. So they're fine if you've got a small, dog-free yard and can dance to their tune, but don't do anything to tick them off.
If we could give zero stars, we would. Davies does not see to know how to plant a tree! We’ve had to have several tress replaced due to their careless methods. Davies digs holes by hand and doesn’t allow enough room for the root ball. Unfortunately, most of the soil in Adams County is of clay consistently, so it is essential to have the area surrounding the roots large enough for the roots to expand. UNSATISFACTORY. I called for a quote on a non-traditional property. Davies provided a quote. Finding it acceptable, I verbally contracted with them to do the work..... On the day of the job - they called me to tell me "we can't do the job", "couldn't find the property". I called back for a better explanation - what I heard was: - Couldn't find it. - We pay our people good money... can't have them out there wasting time driving around I HAD BEEN GIVEN A QUOTE! Davies lawn care has done an excellent job for both myself and my clients. They are timely, proffesional, and extremely knowledgeable. They do many jobs besides lawn care, as well. Call and ask, you won't regret it.
The first year I used them at my business, I was mostly pleased. The second year, the work was inconsistent and rushed, messy. The workers are always pleasant and professional. But don't bother voicing your concerns, the guy on the phone is rude and unhelpful.
