Customer service & front desk staff = 4 Mechanic knowledge and / or their diagnostic machine = 0 Their diagnostic machine indicated no issue with my alternator. The mechanic said it was “something to do with the wires between battery & alternator”. The next day, I’m driving to San Diego and it dies on the interstate. The repair shop in Murrieta ran their diagnostic and said the alternator was completely dead, or inoperable.
