I highly recommend Dr. Davidson. He and his staff are very friendly and professional and made the experience very comfortable.
I will admit that Dr. Davidson has a charming bedside manner but that alone does not make a good dentist. In my experience, he is lazy or doesn’t care and I will give a few examples. I do hope that you read them before you potentially go through the nightmare I went through while in his care. Example 1: He immediately wanted to pull a tooth that “was going to come out eventually anyways” (previous dentist never mentioned) which led me to a costly bridge. Ty is a great dentist. Unlike many DDS's these days, he's not always dreaming up some new thing to sell you. He just takes care of your teeth in a nice, orderly way, without a lot of upsell.
I have been a patient of Dr. Davidson for many years. I am no longer an Austin resident, but reasonably close to the area. I will say that Dr. Davidson and his staff's attention to detail and kindness are well worth the drive.
(update 3/26 - paige is excellent at cleaning my teeth, thorough + gentle. they feel so fresh after.) who loves going to the dentist?! I DO.! been going to dr. davidson 20+ years. had all sorts of issues for him to tackle. love everyone at dr. davidson’s office. they all give A+++ service. hope he’s the kind of guy that will work into his 80s. never want to go to anyone else. first-rate care, cool office, on time, fantastic people, great value, convenient location - easy parking and in/out. how well your teeth do as you age ... read more
