You can’t go wrong with any cut of meat. The quality of their selection is top-notch and the employees are more than happy to answer any questions you have.
We've been coming here for 10+ years about every two months. That's over 60 visits to the store and I have NEVER had a bad experience with service or product quality. We've gotten steaks, chicken, bacon, cheese, roasts, hamburger patties, jerky, sausage, rubs and marinades, etc. Not a single problem. They've always been wonderful to us. BTW, David and Pat have retired and their grandson, Devon is the new owner.
About four years ago, I had a bad experience with this meat market. I came in to this store when I started asking if they had specials or value packs. David said no. When I asked him, how much is this? He said, that's not for sell. it was in the fridge outside of the counter. When I asked him How much is the one below it. That's not for sell. If that whole pink-slime fiasco has scared you off of ground beef (and we certainly wouldn't blame you), perhaps you ought to consider David's Meat Market rather than the local megamart.
Fresh meat, cut how you want it. Reasonable prices. REAL butchers. Always helpful staff. If you're a hunter, bring your meat here to have it dressed.

Best meat in Dallas area – Just moved here from Chicago and researched meat markets. Thanks to the reviews I tried Davids. Pretty big drive for me but VERY WELL WORTH IT. I did try closer meat markets and won't make that mistake again. David has a forever customer! Customer service is top notch and prices you can't go wrong. Fresh cuts every visit!
Best meat market in town! – My family and I have been going to David's for 23 years and haven't looked back! Besides the incredible selection, the staff is always friend, courteous and extremely helpful. I recommend this to anyone looking for steak, roasts, sausages, etc.
Best Beef I've gotten – The other day while shopping for groceries at a local grocery store, I was looking for a roast to cook. I picked up a package and for the first time, looked at where it was from. I was horrored and disgusted. Uruguay, Mexico, New Zealand, Canada, Paraguay, and so on. How could this be?
