Wouldnt recommend Wouldnt recommend this doctor. Greedy. All positive reviews are probably from the lady who sits at the front desk. She was nice and helpful though. Doctor not so good. Kept calling me for repeated visits- charged my insurance big $$$. I got fedup and changed the MD. Didnt feel comfortable at all discussing things with him.
Pillar of the medical profession Although stories about terrible docs boost TV ratings, the VAST majority of docs who have graduated from accredited institutions both possess the desire to help people over filling their pockets and training that goes beyond what most of the public can imagine. concerned parent I have taken my daughter to Dr. Davidow several times for various ailments. Ususally a cold or sore throat. He does spend time speaking with her and we have never felt rushed but I dont believe he is diagnosing her correctly. The only equipment I have seen in his office is a stethoscope. Its the same thing everytime we go in, he will listen to her chest and check her ears and throat and tell us that she has strep throat. He will send us on our way with antibiotics. Poor Service Disappointed with level of care. Dr. Davidow seemed to want to rack up doctor visits rather than help me as a patient. In addition, the doctor himself looks extremely unhealthy. I think this would fall under the same logic of "don't trust a skinny cook". Don't trust a doctor that looks sickly.
Great doctor I had very good experiences of Dr. Davidow. He is very personable, spends a lot of time explaining to you the situation.
He's the best! My father used to be one of Dr. Davidow's patients until he changed locations and it was no longer convenient for him so when I moved back to Houston and found Dr. Davidow listed on my insurance I started seeing him. Dr. Davidow is an outstanding doctor. He listens, he takes time with each patient, he cares about his patients personally, he is available, and he explains things in a way that is understandable and comfortable to you. Dr Davidow - Excellent Practice I don't know what the problem is with these other reviews. I am a fairly new patient to Dr. Joe Davidow, have only been seeing him for a couple years and have no problems or issues whatsoever. He always listens and provides feedback in detail. I have been able to make last minute appointments with no hesitation or problems and even have been able to "walk-in" on occassion a well. Dr. Allison Davidow is the best I see Allison Davidow and I think she is the most thorough general practioner I've ever seen. The practice is small, just her and her dad, and I never have a long wait and can always get in, usually on the same day I call. Dr. Allison Davidow spends time asking you questions and trying to make the best diagnosis. I highly recommend her. She is very caring and makes all her patients feel at ease.
Great Listener!! I have been going to Dr. Davidow for several years now. He is a great listener! He also thoroughly explains his diagnosis and treatment decisions. He even draws pictures to help explain what he is talking about. It never takes more than a few days to get in to see him. There is plenty of parking outside the building.
