Davidhizer has been my doctor for years & I trust his medical opinion & recommendations. If I don't understand something he takes time to explain to me. He has always treated me with dignity & respect which is very important to me. His staff is professional respectful & patient. Appointments are convenient & wait times are short. I highly recommend Dr. Davidhizer as a medical provider if insurance allowed, my whole family would see him
We became suspicious about Dr Davidhizar practice when it seemed we had to have an office visit much more frequently than with previous providers prior to our move to the area. He seemed to see us in order to charge our insurance more money. On one occasion he messed up my wife’s prescription and blamed her when she ran out sooner than she should have. We changed to a new provider and enjoy a much more professional experience.
I have been seeing Dr. Davidhizar since 2015 and he has always been great with me and my horrible medical issues. I was always referred to the correct doctor and I was never referred to a doctor I didn't like. In the last year and a half he turned the pain clinic over to Cristina and I can't stand her I actually left there pain clinic because of her. Dr davidhaizer has a definite problem in the office, it has consistently taken 7 to 10 days or more to get a pre auth lifted from my medications. I was told recently by a pharmacist that all other dr offices are getting pre auths lifted in 24 to 48 hours. I feel like this is unacceptable. Today I was called and told the pre auth was lifted only to check with the pharmacy to find it still wasn't done.
Best doctor I have found in AK!! His staff can be rude at times and other doctors come and go, but Davidheizer is one of the most caring doctors I've seen. The man works 6 days a week and charges a lot less than most doctors. The wait during the summer can get long but it's usually due to emergency walkins. I would see him for everything if I could. I highly recommend him and family practice. FYI most of the rude staff was weeded out. Most are really nice!
I was very impressed with the level of care and the fact that Dr.davidhizar listened to me about the issues I was having. This is Not a doc-n-a-box! Great practice and would recommend to anyone.
Best Dr in Soldotna. So happy Veterans have another place to go for complete great care. Friendly helpful staff. Easy to get an appoitment.
