Where NOT to go – We went to Davide for dinner based on its high ratings and great reviews, but the experience was beyond disappointing. It all started with the cold bread we were served(at first I thought it was probably because of the unusually cold weather) but that was just the beginning to many more disappointments to come. IS THIS A TOP RATED RESTAURANT?? – I recently visited Boston for the weekend and I was looking for a nice Italian restaurant. According to the hotel list of local Italian restaurants, this looked like a great place to eat but looks can be deceiving. First off, the place looked like a dungeon. Valentines Bliss – My Girlfriend and I enjoyed Valentines dinner at Davide. I had gone years ago with my grandparents and remembered it from my childhood. I was blown away by the attentive service, the great food and an amazing romantic atmosphere. Dinner in Boston doesnt get much better than this, and I should know- I work at the finest steakhouse in boston!
The best restaurant in the East coast – I took my wife to Davide for the first time for her birthday and wow... was I surprised. Davide was from from another league. Great Place For A Romantic Dinner – My girlfriend and I visited Davide a little under a year ago. It was a cold winter night, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a classy, warm, and friendly staff. The food is great (from appetizers to entrees). They have an infamous stock of grappa (top 5 in the U.S), if that is your thing, and have been noted as being among the top 50 Italian restaurants in the country.
