I have coronary artery disease and have been a patient of Dr Zimmerman for about 15 years. I had an issue following hospitalization including heart catherization. He saw me quickly and was fully aware of my situation and addressed my issues, questions and concerns with caring about me personally. He made decisions about changing some medications and made recommendations about going forward. He was professional and efficient. This has always been my experience with the services he provides

The service that I receive is excellent. Dr. Zimmerman and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

Dr. Zimmerman is my parents cardiologist and excellent doctor. He explains the problems in a simple and understandable way and he writes down the summary on a piece of paper and hand it to me as a reference. He is very sharp and get to the point. He is a caring doctor and orders test if necessary.

I have been going to Dr. Zimmerman for a few years now for chest pain, high heart rate and LBBB. I was referred to Wellstar Cardiovascular by Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. I didn't decide to go on my own. Dr. Zimmerman told me that since I was 3 minutes late to my appointment that I took time away from "actual patients that have issues" and that he was an "actual Dr." He said that I have history of anxiety and depression and that I am wasting his time. My heart rate jumps to the 190's resting.

I liked Dr Zimmerman on this first visit. He seemed to be laser focused and time efficient. Said he had couple of ideas and would wait for tests. Yes he controls conversation which is a good thing for ppl like me, ALL over board. If u have something pertinent write it down so you don't forget. I have a lot of confidence he will, after 8 Years, find management for this Hell I have lived. And the thought of getting better at 75 gives me unexpected joy.

I am a current patient of Dr. Zimmerman, he is constantly reminding me he is the DR. duh! it could be me but he will not look you in the eye when talking to you, and while it is his job to question my comments it is evident that he feels (at least I am telling him lies) He almost order a test that would not have been good for me given my other conditions but did catch himself before almost insisting that I take the wrong type of stress test. I do like the overall practice the staff is great.

Dr. Zimmerman took his time to explain all of my options along with the test results. He wrote the information down on a sheet for me to keep as a reference. He is very personable. All of the information he provided made me feel very comfortable with the decisions we made about my specific needs.

Terrible. Ordered tests not needed. Zero symptoms. Charged me hundreds. Wellstar is awful. Beware
