He completely ignored any problems I was having during pregnancy. He even prescribed medication I later found out I didn't need and put me the ER days after starting it. He then tried put me on it again 2 weeks later! He didn't do tests needed for my delivery and refused induce which resulted in a full anesthesia emergency cesarean. Baby coded and spent time in the nicu while I had to stay a week in the hospital. All could have been avoided if he listened to me and did his job
Was kind and gave good one on one patient time. I didn't feel judged for concerns I had or decisions I made regarding my care and the care of my baby.

Dr. Young is a fantastic OB and VBAC friendly. I was so lucky to have him as my OB during my VBA2C attempt. He was so easy going, supportive, and sincere. He didn't pressure me into scheduling a cesarean even as I was nearing two weeks overdue. When I went into labor and ultimately did need a cesarean, Dr. Young was not on call that day but still came to the hospital to deliver me. He beat the on call doctor there! He also honored my desires for a gentle c-section.
Nice person, but not a good doctor. Spent very little to no time educating me on a very serious condition I had while pregnant. Over all I was very disappointed in the care I received and I will never go back to him.
