My family used the David York Agency to care for our mother for 12 years. They sent many HHAs over the years... only one was truly professional and caring, and she was the reason we maintained this agency's services. Otherwise, we would have gone elsewhere long ago. This is a family-run business and there is a clear lack of skill-sets and professionalism. Aids ranged from incompetent, to dishonest, to dangerous. A superb, caring, responsive agency that, over a four-year period, provided us with superb, caring, responsive, knowledgeable aides. One we had four all of the four years for during-the-week care, and then for the last two years we had another top aide for the weekends. I could not imagine being with a better agency.
