I don’t usually make reviews on healthcare practices because I know how hard it is to find good help. However, every time I call this office, I am met with a snippy attitude from one woman that answers the phone. Today I was there to see the doctor and had a nice visit and when he told me to check upfront whether my medication had been approved through the prior authorization. I was told to speak to Liliana. My husband had a revision about 25 years ago and Dr. Ward saved his life. I had the sleeve done five years ago along with my son five years ago and then my daughter had it done a year after us. We couldn’t be happier.
Great provider. Very understanding and compassionate. Excellent office staff as well.

My visit with Dr. Ward was fine. Nothing remarkable. They took one look at my insurance and told me my insurance doesn’t cover most medications. If that were the case though why did I come in? Shouldn’t this be checked beforehand? I told the office my reasoning for coming in. Then my visit gets denied by insurance because they needed more info from the doctor’s office, and instead of calling the insurance like they’re supposed to, they billed me the whole almost $2000 balance (which is crazy for a 15 min conversation).
