I brought my 12 year old pomeranian to the Ocala UF satellite office, where they kept her for 5 hours and then told me that they would not administer insulin without hydration, this was on a Sunday at 5pm and they did not close until Monday morning at 8am and I would have to take her to Gainesville (the demonic palace). My mother Inez J is probably one of Dr Merendino’s oldest patients. She’s 88 years young and she feels and looks like a princess every time she leaves that office. Dr Merendino is kind and caring and very patient with my Mom. All of the nurses that work with him are top-notch as well.  Dr Merendino is a really great doctor and I’m kind of jealous that he can only do my Moms feet, but thankful that he’s her doctor because her feet are looking good, she’s walking much better, and  she’s feeling so much better thanks to Dr Mere... read more

I’m at SHANDS for a dental appointment. I will get the rest of my treatment plan today a filling and a night guard impression. Last appointment was wonderful. The Slatetudent- Grace and team gave me an excellent cracked tooth repair right after i broke my tooth in half down to the gum line. Excellent work and very courteous. No discomfort. Wonderful experience.

Treats people like shit and UF Health condones the behavior as many horrid reviews reflect the poor treatment of patients is the acceptable culture. Patients should never shed a tear from the disgusting mannerism from Michael T Pulley, MD, PhD.

On July 21 2024 at about 11:00 pm brought my dog in that was bitten by one of other dogs. We didn’t know this place was here. We called 2 vets near us looking for an emergency number never found one. Our dog was really hurt but we are not doctors didn’t know how bad. The injuries were less than 20 hours old. The vet duty insisted that we weren’t telling the truth told us they were at least a week or more. He didn’t do once or twice more like 8 times. This is not a safe place! These are all students essentially practicing! My Gidget died here April 2024. Gidet was admitted on a Saturday morning and sent home a few hours later in worse condition than she arrived. Trusting a student doctor over my own instincts, thinking they certainly wouldn’t send her home if she was getting worse, they did. I sat with her all night and decided to take her in again early Sunday morning. She died during a blood transfusion (that should have been done on day 1). I received the call that... read more

I had an appointment with Dr Antony for which I waited over 5 weeks. My husband came with me, because this was going to be a very important appointment for both of us regarding a problem I have. We saw his Physician’s assistant who informed us she was helping him but we were going to see him later . To our greatest surprise, he never came! No excuse, no explanation, no word.
