Been with dr Hartman for over 9 years. He has never been argumentative or irrational. Quite the contrary actually, he was the most compassionate dr in his field, that I have ever saw . He is definitely a no bs type person but, there are ppl that come to see him for the wrong reason and I imagine it gets old. Susan and leslie are his nurses and have never once neglected calling me back or scheduling an appointment. He is a wonderful doctor and a decent human being. I have no complaints with him or his staff.

This doctor has no empathy or sympathy. He does have a hot temper and yells and argues a lot even when several other doctors disagree. He lies and can't keep confidentiality. He does not listen to his client. He goes out of his way to hurt them. He can be irational. He is more interested in keeping to a schedule than the humanity of his clients.

I saw the same for psychiatrist for years and decided we just weren't making progress. I researched psychiatrists in the area and narrowed the field to two. One didn't accept my insurance so that was a no go. In any case, after learning more about Dr Hartman, including his amazing life story, and with input from other mental health specialists whose opinions I trusted, I felt I had probably found my guy. I saw Dr Hartman for about 6 months and every time i saw him he was argumentative and difficult. It was a hostile and uncomfortable environment, he did not seem to have any empathy or understanding and felt more like an angry warden than a doctor. I will never go back

I found this doctor to be completely useless outside of refilling my medications. His staff doesn't return phone calls and as a result it is impossible to reschedule appointments. We never once discussed my actual illness (Type-1 Bi Polar Disorder) and he dismissed me as a patient leaving me with only a 30 day refill knowing the lead time on find a new psychiatrist is 90 - 120. Do not bother calling this doctor.
