Had the worst experience at my cleaning appointment today. The dentist tries to upsell every opportunity he gets to the point that it’s uncomfortable. He uses petty ways to make money too because he sold me on the extra fluoride treatment that he strongly insisted on for $29. I agreed to pay $29 and when I went to check out, the rude, UNPROFESSIONAL receptionist said it’s $49. I told the receptionist the doctor said it’s $29 and she consistently fought back saying it’s $49. I will never return.
Dr Handelsmann has been my dentist for the past 25+ years. Always available when I have an emergency. At my request, he always goes with the least invasive treatment. Bonus: he is unfailingly cheerful. Wonderful staff!
I have been coming to see Dr. Handelsman for almost two years and I can honestly say by far this is the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I usually get nervous about visiting the dentist, however when I visit here I feel comfortable. Abby the hygienist is so kind and gentle with cleanings. Dr. Handelsman informed me on my first visit I have TMJ. With that diagnosis I told my Ortho doctor who then referred me to PT specifically for TMJ. I’ve been coming to Dr. Handlesman for years for my dental care. His staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. When I realized I wanted to straighten out my teeth he guided me through Invisalign and the results were fantastic! 10/10 would recommend.
i love the people at this dental office as well as dr handelsman however the process to get an appointment is a bit ridiculous. ive called 4 times in 2 days and every single time it doesnt ring and goes straight to the voicemail box. There’s no online portal to request an appointment and if you miss their call the day before the appointment they will automatically cancel it. Its so hard to get in here to get work done i may just have to switch dentists at this point, very unfortunate.
