I was referred to Dr. Valbuuena by my GP, SAVII. I was promptly contacted and making an appointment was easy. When I arrived the receptionist greeted me respectfully and got me started. The wait was most reasonable and the nurse was great. Dr Valbuena's interview and diagnosis of my immediate need and offered a solution. I chose removal of big toe nails and he was available in that visit. His assistant prepped my toes and the removal by the doctor was painlessly. Post op instructions were clear. Dr. Valbuena and his staff are some of the best in Savannah. I've gone there on several occasions and I've always been extremely satisfied. He's an excellent physician, who takes the time to listen and explain. All of the staff there, especially Jenny, have been super helpful, professional, and very timely in their responses. I highly recommend this practice!
Arrived 15 minutes before appointment time. Waited for an hour and when I asked when we would be seen, we were told”he is running late and he will get to you when he can.” The staff was impolite and inconsiderate. With no idea of when we would be seen, we left. As a fellow physician who has been in practice for almost 40 years, I would never allow patients to be treated like this. Dr Valbueno is great. The office staff not so much. I had an appointment and when I got there they told me I was not scheduled they wanted my appointment card. I didn’t have my card with me and they wouldn’t see me. I returned home and the card was for the date and time that I was there. I wouldn’t be so upset except the office manager told the receptionist “I wish these people would get their appointments right”. I was right!!! I won’t ever go back.
