Granted, a little more research on my part could’ve prevented this, but we weren’t informed until our 3rd session that Dr. thornsen didn’t take my insurance and that we owed him $655. He seemed more concerned with getting paid after the end of our final session than he did with how my wife and I would continue to get treatment and work on our marriage. Didn’t care for his style either, talks to you like you’re a little kid saying things like “use your words”, etc.

I am very sorry to hear that was your experience. I know said not to worry about paying all at once, that it was fine to take time. I offered the option of either working with me on our sliding scale or referring you to a great therapist who takes your insurance. When we left off, my understanding was that you were going to talk it over and get back to me if there was anything I could do. Again, I am deeply sorry that you felt I left you hanging. That was certainly never my intention.
