I have been a customer of Bennett's Optical for over 50 years. I usually see Dr. Bednar who is friendly and efficient. I also order my eyeglasses from their store. I tried a "one-hour" store once. The "one-hour" store did such a sloppy job of fitting lenses to frame that I took them to Bennett's to fix. This they gladly did at no charge. I've never strayed from this excellent business since.

i see dr bednar ,friendly guy ,seems to know his craft very well. latest equipment,would recommend him for your eye exams and more.

LOVE the $35 option to scan my eyes vs dilating them - amazing! I've been going to Bennett Eyecare, now Eyecare Midwest, for over 30yrs, will never change!

My appointment with Dr. Bennett was very pleasant and quick. I was called back for my examination quickly after arriving, and I was promptly examined. I was very surprised to learn that new technology was implemented into the exam so that the patient could avoid dilating the eyes. The new procedure costs a few dollars more, but it's worth it, because I didn't have to experience the dilation, and the Doctor can get a more comprehensive view and exam of the eyes, that he can't see otherwise. I was scheduled for an appointment for a convenient time, seen promptly, had the opportunity to use a retinal scanner instead of dilation for this exam- well worth the $35.00 and much faster. Dr. said he gets more information from the scan and it was worth it to me, though not covered by vision insurance. Staff is friendly, did not rush me in my frame choices and gave me good recommendations for lenses. Will definitely return to this practice for further eye care.
