We have been with Dr. Swender for more than 8 years now and he has made such a difference in the care of my son’s health—His asthma is well controlled and when he has an episode Dr. Swender is always available to assist us, football season and summer humidity always hits the worst and Dr. Swender is always able to get him through it. I don’t know where we would be without him
Dr Swender has seen myself and my two boys for the last several years. My boys he has seen since they were weeks old. He always takes the time to really listen to me and explains things so I can understand them. He is a kind and compassionate doctor!
Dr. Swender took his time and was very professional. He has a great bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients.
Dr. Swender always spends time going over my children’s care with us. He explains things so they can understand. He is patient, kind, and we leave feeling heard.
Dr. Swender provides amazing patient care and takes everything you say into consideration. I feel heard on my concerns and validated. He’s given us the right direction and tools to get my son acquainted with his asthma; we’re finally understanding what’s been wrong since my son was born. Dr. Swender is so great at balancing information to parents as well as talking to children to make them comfortable! Highly recommend!
The doctor is nice, however the medical assessment he gave was similar to what a stranger could tell me in a Wal-Mart medicine aisle. He told me I didn't have allergies but a blood test and an allergy test with another Allergist says different. I would not recommend this doctor.
I was referred to Dr. Swender after a test indicated a recurring symptom to be allergic reactions. He explained why the test indicated an allergy, but he knew of a possible non-allergy cause that was easier to treat. He outlined options and asked for my thoughts. We agreed to rule out the non-allergy cause first. The symptom cleared. A repeat test indicated no allergy, confirming the lesser treatments worked. I've been symptom-free for more than a year.
I love this doctor! He is great with my 1 year old son and with me. He is uplifting and encouraging but will quickly address anything he has a concern with, from the childs health to what I am doing as a parent. He LISTENS and he cares. He has helpef a ton with my sons asthma and allergies.
Though I have only seen Dr. Swender twice I really liked him. He listened to me very well and respected my opinion. He has a great way of making you feel comfortable and gets what needs to be done, done.
