So disappointed about the way my care has gone with Dr Sugiyama. When a patient expresses concern and frustration about not feeling heard regarding the same symptoms, bedside manner should be having empathy for his patients concerns and struggles while trying NEW solutions to figure out the issues not saying well this happens a lot. I hadn't been able to sleep or even walk in my backyard because of hip pain. I got the the point that I used crutches and didnt think I was going to be able to work anymore. My doctors and Orthopedic surgeon told me to lose weight. Dr. Sugiyama diagnosed the problem, and after 1 injection, I was pain free. I slept without pain for the first time in 1 year.
Dr Sugiyama goes above and beyond for his patients. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a primary doctor.
What a pathetic excuse for a doctor. He had his mind made up that he wouldn't be helping us from the second we got in the room. He spent more time telling us what he couldn't do than telling us what he could. He was rude and spoke down to my parents. He was argumentative and combative. At one point, he said "I only have 20 minutes to give to you, so decide what you want to talk about, your shoulder or your legs. I can't do both" . To think we waited 3 months in pain to have him treat us do poorly. Total waste of time!
