I became a new patient in January and asked Dr. Law for help accessing fertility services. He was unable to assist and only became involved after I repeatedly pushed for help regarding a case where my spouse and I requested the same services, but only mine was denied. His involvement was minimal, and he suggested my spouse’s approval was “likely” an error. Outstanding doctor, treated me as a whole person rather than a distinct diagnosis. He integrated health concerns when answering questions about chronic conditions. Was thorough and informative about those conditions, and gave useful instructions. Responded to all my concerns, did an EKG and made a referral related to two concerns. This was the best doctor-patient interaction I have ever had within Kaiser.
Dr Law is an amazing doctor and very kind He takes some time to listen and diagnose your problem , I appreciate that.

Overall the visit was fine. I don't really have any serious concerns. When I asked a COVID related question. I thought he was rushing through his canned COVID comments. I could not tell whether he did not or just could not have any personal COVID thoughts. Comments came across as inauthentic. It appeared he was just navigating Kaiser speaking points. So I guess what I'm saying is; coming from a traditional family doctor program to the Kaiser program. This process as a whole just felt more like a rushed business transaction. ... read more
