I love his direct honest approach. He always started the embrassing conversations...The ones i felt nervous to ask.As a Man....he was easy to talk with!!

All of the staff from the front desk to his assistant were very attentive and caring.
I had a follow-up appointment booked for Thursday at 10:30 with Dr. Shepherd. Arrived at 10:25 and sat in waiting room until 11:00 with no word from anyone. At 11:00 was moved to an exam room. At 11:30 no one had come in to advise what was going on or when Dr. Shepherd might be available. I got up and left. I like and respect Dr. Shepherd but his staff is lacking professionlism. Very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. What would they have said if I had been an hour late for the appointment? I now have to reschedule... read more
Great dr was very helpful when talking to us about husband surgery
Dr Shepherd is easy to talk to and very informative but his staff is horrible. We do not receive test results and when we call the only number you can reach is the hospital operator who takes a message. My husband has prostate cancer and his follow up test results in April we not good. We finally got a call from someone in his office who told us his numbers were fine. We contacted our primary care doctor who immediately got an apoointment with Dr Shepherd because of the results. He got a PET scan two weeks ago and no one fro... read more
He did a great and patient job understanding and explaining my condition and his plan. My experience in the office, in the hospital, and in recovery was very much better than I'd expected. I wish my margin had been clear and am waiting to heal for reassessment. I was very glad my ED concern had a good outcome even though some nerves couldn't be spared.
My surgical outcome was better than I expected.I believe he is a highly skilled and highly motivated in he practice.
